My first ever swagger inn thread.

I've been out working since 7.30. Yes, that's 7.30 on a Saturday. Have been invigilating the 11 plus. God, it's a horrible thing for kids that age. I have to record every single incident in my room in case of appeal. There were 17 Including one I had to give a pep talk to because of tears

Oh Sparks you would be one of the lovely people that my big DS was supported by then!! He wanted to try for grammar school so sat the 11+ last year. He got a high enough score and was offered a place but has chosen the local state school. I'm glad he did but we would have supported him either way.

Back to school is such as expensive time when all the small amounts are added up together, it's partly why I'm keen to get on with my ebay spree. Double benefit of less clutter & a few extra pounds.

Vine weevils larvae eat plant roots and can easily kill plants, esp in pots. The nemotode worms are a biological pest control - they eat the larvae. I get them delivered & have a packet in my fridge waiting to be watered onto my pots!

Ah Fancy I see! I currently have a garden that resembles a wild life reserve. Next year I want to sort it.

Hmm, interesting Minty. When I have a cold I usually get blocked sort of high up in the nose and I also get a lot of phlegm and I also think I might have a chronic "sniffle".

Morning all. Last day of currentjob before starting nextjob on Thursday and have a shit ton of paperwork and housework to do before then. 10 days on that project, a mini meetup, then 1 day off before nextnextjob.

Sorry to hear about the car Minty. Mine is 17 years old and I dread the MOT every year. I wouldn't care how much it cost to put it right though, I love it so much. I wouldn't swap it for anything.

WW I sometimes get a weird smell in my nose even if I haven't got a cold. Never have found out what it is, but it goes away on its own.

I don't like autumn because winter's around the corner.

You know that fall I had the other day? Well it's been painful to sit down ever since and I investigated this morning. I've got a huge black bruise bigger than my hand on my nether regions. It hurts even more now that I know what it is!

Lovely day here, third wash on, two on the line. Both boys have had good weeks at school, and DH has been told that his contract is going to be extended well into next year. And we have just booked tickets to go and see Muse at the O2 in April - soooooo excited!! Am a content wench today.

Plans for the rest of the day are to cook casserole for dinner, watch some rugby, and get the jumpers down from the loft.

Apes when I took my shower dive is was very battered so you must be so sore too just be careful with any aches.

Crap car and bruise news. I try not to ask or look at how much money DH spends on the car, which is only a couple of eyes old - like when he turned up with tinted fucking windows like he is 18!

Afternoon all! Sunny here but was very autumnal first thing. Just about a perfect day weather-wise; all mists and mellow fruitfulness and then clear skies and sunshine. I love the Autumn

Hope wenches who had relative-free mornings continued to enjoy them. Have one do at home, the other is next door so everything is calm. Just a well as am trying to tidy house for babysitter (off to theatre this evening) and friends around for lunch tomorrow.

Had the most lovely day. Both boys had eye test and 2 pairs of new glasses each. Breakfast in greasy spoon. Shopping. Fab.

Evening wenches. Just tried to catch up but RBNRM save for MintyEva misbehaving car, lots of gorgeous pictures and injured wenches.

Put the phone down on a client yesterday which actually made me feel better because he was being sweary at me.

Still not feeling massively wenchy but it'll come back.

Saw an osteopath/chiropractor (not sure which) this morning. He's said I need to be seen again but not sure I can shell out the money every week. Hair cut this afternoon and then continued my fruitless search for new bedroom ceiling lights. Watched the tennis (woohoooooo well done Team GB !) and am now feeling weljel of Obs' greasy spoon.
