Morning! It's lovely here today but very very autumnal. Logs are all chopped waiting for temp to drop and fires to start. It was 5 overnight the other day so won't be long. I LOVE autumn. Had sudden realisation that it's only 3 weeks until autumn school break here so need to get something organised re holiday.

DH want to go brambling and plum picking today and then make crumbles . Then we are off out to a party tonight which is only down the road so for once no long schlep home while pished in the dark.

Very much enjoying the pictures. Not sure about that coat though.

Hope all wenches have a good day, with no toothache or bumping heads and with well behaved DC.

Beautifully sunny here today, think I may get out in the garden later - I have autumn feed for the lawn to apply and nemotode worms to continue my battle with wine weevils. Oh and washing to do obv.

Mm crumbles, lovely idea. I have some bramley's, so I think an apple crumble is on the cards here.

Morning all, I am using my free morning to have breakfast drink coffee in a coffee shop and read before I go for a walk to purchase a gift for a party this afternoon.,it's bliss.

In s2 I am looking forward to this episode. I know it wasn't well received but I really enjoyed Porthos and the daughter and Dog kicking the door in and the slo-mo fighting.

I'm wondering if Fancy has vine weevils and an autocorrect that suggests she drinks too much?

Hello Tea in bed sounds lovely. I've just returned from a shopping trip and I bought wine, yay Also found some cute mugs for about £2 each

I'm going to spend the rest of the day washing clothes, cleaning and start packing for my trip

I'm in bed eating biscuits with a cat lying on my feet. My car just failed it's MOT to the tune of £160

I love a swishy coat, me.
I am now sorting out all the summer stuff and putting it away so no doubt we shall now have a heatwave :)
Putting up my winter heavy bedroom curtains.
Sorted all the boys coats (why do they have so many!?) and found an old jacket of mine that is coming out of hibernation.
Boots ready to go, tunics washed and ironed.
I think autumn is my favourite season except for all the bugs :(

Im going to try and get some more shifts at work - such a spendy time Of year! In the last week alone we have had school photos (£20) school fund (£15) and first trip (£18)
I will be spending my b day money on necessities which is always a bit crap.

We're the same, just handing money out left right and centre! Luckily there has been overtime for DH doing the last two Sunday's. After Christmas we have two debts ending that have taken two years to sort out following DH being ill. That's my light at the end of the tunnel. It'll be £200 a month back and it'll be so much less stressful.
To be fair it's the first time my car has failed a MOT. It's twelve years old and I love it and it's a lovely reliable diesel mom car!

Oh and yes, my birthday money always vanishes on stuff that's not birthday or me related
