Teething Rings

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place only I'm looking for some advice.

DD is 14 weeks and has started teething. I've looked into getting her a teething ring which I can cool to help her with the hot gums, only all the ones I've seen have said "DO NOT STERILSE" - not by any method.

I thought you were supposed to sterilse anything that might go into their mouths for atleast the first six months.

Does anyone know any more about this?
