I knew that this would go down like a lead balloon, but I did shaving too Anne.
It is actually recommended. For SOME. It stimulates hair growth.
Ds1 was born with loads of black spivvy hair, which was a bit of a shock.
But within a couple of weeks it had fallen out and very blonde hair was coming through. But the blonde was very very short, just coming through. And the black had fallen out in patches, so has long wispy bits, in patches. Looked very odd.
But my friend, a hairdresser recommended I shaved it off she said it wouldn't look odd because the blonde was still practically shaven as it was that short as it was coming through and would get rid of all the black long wispy bits and also it was very good for hair and stimulate, made even stronger and thicker and that was her recommendation.
At first, I thought I cant, then very cautious and wasn't going to do it and then afterwards I wondered all day what I done, because it did look, well shaven , not bauld, but a grade 1,for a cuppa of days. But afterwards it was fine. Within a week it looked much better than the long black patches.
So, I'm just saying , whilst it sounds harsh, it is recommended. By some.
But different if you have a child with long curls that you adore.
