I've only ever waxed my brows but keep hearing about threading. Have never done it. What is it and which is better?

I have mine waxed but I'm glad you started this thread because I don't really understand how threading works and am curious.

Sorry..that's no help at all is it!?

Never tried it but I think htreading is more effective (and more painful)... I think threading is supposed to be much better.

Personally I prefer threading and now always have it done. I find it neater and lasts longer then when I have my eyebrows waxed.

It is slightly more painful then waxing but after a while you get used to it.

Threading does seem to last longer but it bloody hurts and left my skin quite sore around the area, looked a bit awful for the rest of the day with red blotches she did put aloe vera stuff on, so I stick to the waxing since.

threading is supposed to be better for not getting wrinkles... but hardly anywhere does it

TinyGang · 24/11/2006 13:27

How is it done?

curlysmum · 24/11/2006 13:35

with a reel of cotton, wrapped round their finger the pull it really tight and hold it an angle and pull it back and forward and it plucks out the hair some how
