did you notice if this is the currently aAngel outfit on sale, and for how much? Don't want to spend over the odds on Ebay if this is available instore... will mean a half hour drive but would be worth it.

Oh please don't buy it - use the half an hour to improvise one with an old sheet or an old white tshirt and tights and some tinsel. Join my Campaign for Real Nativity Costumes and to Keep Tescos Profits Down.

hhmmm... do u have a campaign against all dressing up outfits? If I buy an Angel outfit it will go in DD dressing up box for at lest a year, and her and smaller dd will derive great pleasure from it! Hardly worth depriving them to teach Tesco a lesson!

Oh sorry - excess of zeal! It's only their use in Nativity plays that the campaign is working on. Dressing up is fine - carry on Mind you, I have a very competitive-parent brother who has a dd the same as mine, who when I said "Does M like dressin up? G loves it" said "Oh no, M's imagination doesn't need props"!

dabihp · 24/11/2006 07:04

oh fgs! 'dosen't need props' indeed! they are for added fun! (you should buy 'M' a lovely grily box of dressign up stuff for xmas and watch in delight an she plays with it!

whats with the campaign anyways? juts specifically Tesco? or 'we mothers hsould b making the costumes approach'?

that was last years stock - wouldn't pay more than £6 inc of p&p. going on their prices would have said it would have been around the 8-10 mark originally.

just awaiting instruction from nursery here as to costume - have the sewing machine out ready and waiting.

foxtrot · 24/11/2006 07:32

i am hoping i don't have to do a costume - DS1 is a cockerel (?)

pesme · 24/11/2006 07:44

SecondhandRose · 24/11/2006 08:20

Mothercare have loads of nativity outfits, kings etc if anyone really can't make their own with a tea towel.

Callisto · 24/11/2006 10:46

Foxtrot - an old rubber glove should do the trick and can be doubled as cows udders too...

foxtrot · 24/11/2006 12:35

LOL at rubber glove, callisto, very good idea!
