Architects in RBK&C?.......Please

Can anyone recommend an Architect who has projects within Kensington and Chelsea and dealings with the local Planning Department there.

How about having a look on the RIBA website (i assume one exists) or phoning them for advice. also worth contacting the local Council they might be able to give you some information. Yellow Pages? I know these are not personal reccomandations but it might be useful.

I hope you have better luck than me jmg1. I waited over four weeks for one to return a phone call. He finally came out last Wednesday though. He phoned me Tuesday night and asked when was convenient. I said you tell me and I'll be here I've waited that long. So he came at 9am the following morning. Maybe this project will go ahead after all.

What kind of job is it?

It is a mansard extension, rear extension (at thrid floor) + roof terrace. Basically adding another floor to a four storey house.
Past experience has shown that a personal recommendation is the safest bet to get the job going and running smoothly.

jmg1, the firm I work for does most of its work in West (ish) london. We have several projects in rbkc. We are very very busy at the moment, but depending on how much you need done and what you had in mind designwise, I could recommend one of the guys (well actually the only guy, as the rest of us are female) to do it on the side.
