Ideas please for retirement present for FABULOUS HV

My totally wonderful health visitor is taking early retirement and I want to get her a present. She is totally fab, has the most brilliant memory and treats you like her most important family. She remembers little details. EVERYONE adores her.
Thenk goodness now my youngest has just about grown out of hvs (just had a check up yesterday, which is how I found out)

Anyway I want to get her a gift, what would you get?

I think anything will be appreciated, even if it's just a box of roses or something.

but is there anything about her which might suggest a gift? when i was a teacher, the best gift I ever received was a jar of handcream - not because handcream is great, but because at the time my fingers were falling to bits and the women (it was a joint prezzie) had obviously noticed and chosen accordingly. it was just thoughtful.

you need to be careful - she may not be able to accept it. most nhs trusts / PCTs will have a value limit placed on receiving goods.

you'll probably best with a really nice card, something made by the dcs and a bunch of flowers

Good idea about something homemade from the dcs. They like baking and ds is particularly fond of glitter at the mo, so a card and cookies?

Sorry SP, clicked post before I'd finished. Something thoughtful would be lovely. But really don't know an awful lot about her and didn't notice her hands although I know when I was a nurse that my hands were a mess due to constantly washing them.

depends what you want to spend but you could probably get a shoulder, neck and back massage treatment for under £20
