Our first-born is due tomorrow.

I want to get DP a nice little present from both the baby and me for when the baby is born to thank him for being so lovely.

I won't go on gushing.

Any ideas?

I bought my husband a watch on a chain and had it engraved. Not ideal for all men but he's in the military so he wears it with his mess dress al the time.

I bought dh "The Firstborn" by Laurie Lee. A wonderful essay about his new daughter and it brought and still brings tears to our eyes when we read it. You can get it online.
