Norah that sounds a crap day. Come here and have a snuggle as Floppers is away. Your Tav lit is fab, as are your crafts. Wine

FolknNorah · 01/08/2015 21:12

I've never had tequila I don't think. Hmmmmmm.

I'd go quite nicely with the I love yous drunks I think. They'd say they loved me and I'd hug them, they'd say they loved me and I'd hug them.
Like a vicious circle only friendly and huggy and probs a bit wobbly. Grin

Baddz · 01/08/2015 21:13

I'd probably try to cop a feel too tbh...

Baddz · 01/08/2015 21:14

Loving the pics fancy.

FancyFancy · 01/08/2015 21:15

I got it norah. Well I assume I did, but then sparks made me doubt myself. I couldn't believe I had a filthier mind than her you see Wink

FolknNorah · 01/08/2015 21:16

Yes, but they did you get the glove thing. I was quite pleased with that. Sad

FancyFancy · 01/08/2015 21:25

Well I think I got it, now you're making me doubt myself (not hard!). I thought the same as sparks final post.

Ah, snakebite and black. Who was the other fellow Wench veteran of Purple Nasty ?

FolknNorah · 01/08/2015 21:58

Purple Nasty? That sounds fun... Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/08/2015 22:11

Oh yes - purple nasties....

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 01/08/2015 22:17

Night wenches Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/08/2015 22:27

I am back from day out at friend's housewarming which was lots of fun (I had a sip of Pimms and thought of Comtess ).

I am now back in holiday booking hell because last night's accommodation turns out to be full after all. And DH is being v. grouchy about trying to find alternative accommodation.

Sod it - joins drunken huggy circle of wenches declaring undying love for each other. Comtess I have about 15 pounds worth bottled up - need to go finish actually.

FancyFancy · 01/08/2015 22:50

Noooo stay here helen. Tbf you may have trouble getting away now we're all stuck together with the honey

Cinnamoncookie · 01/08/2015 23:58

PlacewhereIhavepreviouslyworked has bees, and a part-time volunteer beekeeper, who was always ready to talk about the bees. He was extracting honey one day, it tastes amazing compared to shop stuff - very flowery and fresh

Cinnamoncookie · 02/08/2015 00:01

Ooh; that was post 666, and this is post 667 - neighbour of the beast, as I once saw printed on a tshirt.

Although (gets very literal) surely 664 and 668 are the neighbours ?

IssyStark · 02/08/2015 07:29

Good night?

Morning all from a Premier Inn on outskirts of large NW city where I used to drink too much Newee Brown and bitters. Ds1 woke me at 6.15 Sad

DrIssy is proverbial bear with sore head as v sleep deprived as hasn't slept Sad but I am pinned to bed by a lapful of ds2 so can't get up yet Smile

Pimms was not something I grew up with but my bf from school did (her dad was proper old school upper mc) and I remember thinking it was wierd. drIssy's uni friends were into it so I have drink more since and even made a Pimms and Lemonade jelly once. We had their Brandy based cup at one point - it was okay but he didn't finish it before it went off. Now that DrIssy is into his cocktails, he prefers to try to make was the various Oimms cups are imitating from scratch. Not that I'm complaining Grin

Right I need a Brew

chaiselounger · 02/08/2015 07:32

Joins Cinn and Bads as one of the purple nasties!!

So, Issy and Flops are now on holiday, right?
Have you managed to get something booked Helen?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/08/2015 08:06

Nothing booked yet chaise - DH is currenlty still asleep, but was a bear with sore head last night over stress and not wanting to spend entire holiday driving from place to place. I have pointed out that driving from place to place is what happens when your holiday mainly consists of freeloading off friends in various different locations, with the odd 2-nights in unavailable B&Bs. Even more so when you're aiming to end up in a place just about as far away as you can get whilst staying in the same country. I do agree that it's not much fun spending 1-2 hours (or more) of every day in the car, but - FFS - there isn't an option unless we change holiday plans. And we won't even talk about the tedium of constantly packing and re-packing for multi-location holidays. But it's cheap and we see lots of people.

SO either way, this summer hols is going to be a delightful mixture of either DH grouching about the driving, or being martyred about it, or defensive about us not actually getting to FarFarAway place at all because he didn't want to drive that far. FML etc etc etc.

cin I am a relatively bad beekeeper and mostly muddle along (make lots of records and peer at them regularly, but I'm sure I don't know enough about it all). Honey tastes different depending on where the nectar came from

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/08/2015 08:33

Also, did I miss them, or have these from JP's twitter not been posted here?

Morning!
Weather looks a bit dodgy today :(
I am on operation "get ds2 to eat more protein". Sigh. So today's not going to be stressful AT ALL
going to go and see mum and then get stuff for dinner and then cook dinner.
Sorry to hear about all the fucktrumpery.
Both DC will probably spend today watching tv/iPads. Weather doesn't look good enough to for a walk/bike ride.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/08/2015 09:49

So - you remember that Tom Burke posted that lovely thank you vid to ALL his fans for their support at:

Well.... The Burketeers have only added their own logo at the front and back and claimed ownership of it:

I mean - disclaimer, yes I know that they were amongst the fans being thanked, and provided some of the gifts that were mentioned (was that the book of scary poetry he was waving about?) And I know that the fundraising pages were started by BritAngie who is head honcho of Burketeers. But they weren't the only fans at comicon, and aren't the only ones who donated money, and really - just WTF were they thinking to add their logo to the mesage as if it belongs solely to them.

I'm sure that lots of them are lovely people and all, but they do come across as the most entitled, possessive, deluded bunch of stalkers loons sometimes
#NotABurketeer(ThankFuck)

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/08/2015 09:57

PS - you remember MrsB being MrsBurketeer from 1st April 2014? Happy days. Then changing it to avoid association with burketeers? Grin

Badders have a good day - my washing from yesterday is still on the line because it was damp again by the time I got back last night.

FancyFancy · 02/08/2015 10:15

Morning. I'm slightly better than you helen as only some of yesterdays's washing is still on the lined Grin.

Good luck with the bookings helen (and with your DH)

badders, will he eat seeded breads? There can be a surprising amount of protein in some of them. eg. Food Doctor seeded pittas have as much protein as an egg - very useful for DD my carb-monster!

FancyFancy · 02/08/2015 10:36

Am enjoying a peaceful DC free morning so what better way to spend it than a s1 ep2 rewatch?
