Yeah I've got a cleaner. still do a lot of cleaning but at least during busy times everything gets a good once over and things like skirting boards that I would never do get done. It's an old house so it never looks clean. Mess is our main thing but I try not to nag.

En route to the airport. We've had a lovely week and a bit, restful and restorative but my skin needs a break from sun, sea, sand and suncream. It was 37deg yesterday which was ridiculously hot. Few days to do the washing and get ready for next bit!!

One of DSs friends has just come out of hospital after an extremely serious case of ecoli. They weren't sure how it was going to go for a while, but they're recovering now. And now they think DS might have it. I can't even think straight and I can't talk to anyone about it because I don't want it to get all round and people panic.

I am shattered this morning. Had a really good night's sleep, but two days of walking a child pace, standing in queues and carrying stuff + not-so-small-any-longer-children, has taken it's toll.

Holiday house is lovely, the kind that makes you envious. Weather is vile today but Wimbledon is on and it looks like it will blow over soon so it'll be on with wellies and fleeces and out onto the beach.
