can anyone help/e mails

Hi,could anyone tell me how to turn off the e mail indicator box that keeps popping up on the bottom right hand side of my computer everytime i get a new e mail please.

I have outlook express and this is what I would do - your set up might be different.... Open email page, click on Tools, Options and in there are (funnily enough!!) the options you can switch on and off as you wish.

HI KBear thanks,-I have yahoo mail and bt messenger.
I do have some mail in outlook express so i changed settings in their.
As you can tell am a complete novice.
I could'nt see a tools bar in my yahoo mail.

In yahoo mail there's an option on the right hand side called mail options or something, that might hold the key
