Car garages

Hi guys

I'm just wondering what everyone chooses when they go to get their cars serviced/MOT'd/repaired?

I usually choose my local garage, but I'm wondering if I'm going to be getting a better deal going to a big chain like Kwik Fit. A lot of people I know prefer going to the bigger chains like Halford and Kwik Fit over independent garages.

Am I missing something? MOT due soon and am weighing up what is the best option.

IMO its worth paying a bit more and developing a relationship with a small local garage.

I always use my local garage.

Do NOT go to the likes of the big chains. Ask around friends/colleagues and use a local garage. This comes from the DH who works in a dealership, but puts our own car through a local independent friendly garage.
