please help me with a coat hanger question!

I have just brought some new coat hangers.

The top of the hanger slants forward - and I am not sure which way to hange clothes!

Should the slant be heading towards the front of the garment?

if you think of your shoulders and your chest being the concave bit - that is how you should hang them.

(Blimey, not even sure that makes sense)

yes..imagine the slant is your neck in the item as it were
