will it not dissapear if you delete your internet history? Or do you want the drop down memory from the search box deleted too?

RTKangaMummy · 13/11/2006 18:44

click google and then it says "CLEAR HISTORY" IN BLUE AT THE BOTTOM

southeastastra · 13/11/2006 18:49

this

RTKangaMummy · 13/11/2006 18:51

have you got google toolbar?

advocateofthedevil · 13/11/2006 18:53

in internet explorer you click in the empty search box which brings up a long list of searches and then hover your mouse over them and press delete and this deletes them.

southeastastra · 13/11/2006 19:03

i don't have the google toolbar it got wiped when we had a virus.

JoolsToo · 13/11/2006 19:04

if you mean autocomplete just highlight what you searched for and press the 'delete' button

DH says if you use a webwasher it will do the job and might also delete any trojans stored in your temporary internet files (DH is a geek emoticon)

MascaraOHaraIncredibleSheHulk · 13/11/2006 19:35

yes I mean the history from the drop down...

I don't have the clear history link or a google toolbar

use free download ccleaner it's quite safe - gets rid of all temp files as well and keeps your pc running well.
