I know this is an odd request - but does anyone have a donkey in the Oxford/Oxon area they could spare for a night?

I'm certain school would cover your travelling expenses, and if not, I would.

This lot are in Oxfordshire - might be worth a try?

You could try Beale Park (near Pangbourne). Not sure if they have donkeys or not (moved from that area a few years ago) but might be able to help.

Good luck.

[I presume you sorted out your dog cage problem back in the summer, btw. Hope you had a good holiday.]

how about Butterscotch . a snip at £300 (oh how I laughed my way out of the shop when I saw this)

hatwoman, bless you for finding it!

I think that's all they'd make on the night - not that it's a money-making thing

Well, we got one! Think one of the teachers put out an appeal on the local radio station and a donkey sanctuary came forward! We asked parents for a £2 donation towards mulled wine/hot chocolate, and all the money went towards the sanctuary.

She was great - her name was Tracey, she didn't fluff her lines, didn't need a costume, and even the wise man accompanying her did his best to sing along to the carols!

Thanks for all your help. xx

Def one of the odder requests I have seen on here but glad it went well!
