Yes but ONLY with a SWIM SOCK available from sport shop! Must not stand on floor barefooted. Use talc after washed and dried so that it's easier to get on again and again and again. Hope the veruccas goes soon.

DD1 has 2 on one foot and her teacher told me not to woryy the kids are still allowed to do swimming and pe with nothing on there feet so I have requested she doesn't do these activities because I don't want others to suffer like she is.

Sorry slight hijack. How do you know what a verucca look like? My dd has two raised dots on her foot (kind of looks like corns) not sure if they are verucca's or not, can anyone help?

tegan · 10/11/2006 15:19

That is exactly what dd's are like so I took her to the gp and got perscribed salatac.

Hallgerda · 10/11/2006 15:20

If you use Bazuka or something similar to treat it, you don't need the swim sock because the verruca will already be covered.

Think I'd prefer to swim with dolphins...

sleepysooz · 10/11/2006 16:17

It is acceptable to now swim with varrucas [horrified]

hatoff · 10/11/2006 16:45

horrified too!

Yes I asked the dr this a few years ago, and she said the virus is all around anyway an people will catch it if they are susceptible and not if not (IYKWIM) so not to worry about 'spreading' it....
