I have never had a dishwasher until recently. We had one fitted before we moved into our house. I have to confess that we haven't used it, as we don't generate that much washing up.
However I thought I should give it a try. When I opened it I noticed that the bottom was full of water. Presumably the workmen left it after fitting it.
If I removed the filter would the water just drain out or do I need to remove it manually?
