Do you constantly interact with your children?

If you do why do you do it?

Do you feel that if you just ignore them you are not fulfilling your parental duties?

Do you look down your nose on those who don't seem to interact as much with their children?

Do you ever get fed up with it?

No,because I would be stark staring mad if I did and so would they.

I don't! Children need to learn to play independently, without adults around IMO. They also need to learn what it is like to be a bit bored, and what they can do themselves to deal with that.

I don't because they don't need me too and how would they ever learn to play by themselves? Sometimes at the end of the day I think back and wonder if I've done enough with them but I take them places everyday (either to friend's houses or playgroups) where they have fun so I guess that at the end of the day if they are happy so am I. It's an emotive one though. I'll be interested to see how this pans out...

Used to feel I should be interacting most the time when I had my first as I felt that was what I should do. Got over it.
