Anyone used just4baby.co.uk?

Just wondering if anyone else has used www.just4baby.co.uk and if so, anything good or bad to say about them? I am becoming increasing unimpressed and am not sure what to do next...

Ordered a new car seat on 14th October as they were one of the cheapest around. After waiting for a week I emailed them to ask when I might be getting it. After 24 hours they told me that the colourway I ordered was discontinued but that they could offer me one of the new colourways for the same price (at this point I was really happy as this would save me a good £20-30 compared to other places). So I picked a colour and gave them a second choice just in case. After a few more days I chased again only to be told that the new colourways wouldn't be available for another 10 days. 10 days passed last week and I sent an email again. No reply. I sent another one yesterday and no reply. I have now tried ringing them a few times - and noone is answering. No money taken from my credit card yet so that's one good thing, but it is not looking good...

Do not use this site. See other bad reviews on Review centre www.reviewcentre.com/reviews245306.html. 33 days after ordering a child car seat I have received no communication from just4baby beyond the original order confirmation. Payment was taken from my account 2 days after the order was placed, but the item was never dispatched and the company has not replied to 2 subsequent emails, 1 asking for an update on the order after 7 days, and 1 requesting cancellation of the order and refund of the £89.95 after 10 days. Following advice from Consumer Direct I have sent a written complaint cancelling the order and reiterating my request for a refund, sent registered delivery, and received no response. The company indicated that delivery would take between 3-5 days, Consumer Direct states that if a specific delivery date was not quoted then a default of 30 days applies. I am about to issue a claim through the small claims court. This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had and will deter me from using little known online retailers to buy baby and child equipment again.

Steer clear of this website. We ordered 2 mattresses from the just4baby website which were both listed as in stock. We've emailed and phoned but get a poor reply if any. Were nearly 3 weeks later and the website is still showing the items in stock but when you speak to somoene, there don't care and just say its due this week. The website is saying its still in stock but who knows when it will arrive.

Anyway its a very poor service and the stock levels cannot be trusted.
You have been warned!

Terrible service.took money straight off credit card promised 4-5 days delivery ..never turned up. Very rude man when phoned up.no apology no reason. no phone call or emails back .finally cancelled order and after having to chase up getting money back twice was refunded.wish i read other reviews before ordering.put me off online ordering for good

Purchased a car seat from this company and it came with fast delivery and correct product, so was over the moon using this company. However this car seat has been recalled by the manufacturer saying customers are entitled to a full refund. This is where the issues started.

First refused to take the car seat back even though they have been told to do so. Then once agreed after contacting the manufacturer refused to give a refund just store credit, again this is against what the manufacturer had issued a statement to all retailers of their brand.

Then said they would take it back at a cost to myself which argueed a numerous times and phone calls they agreed to cover the cost. Now they have the car seat i'm still awaiting a refund 2 weeks on. A phone call to sort this and they have said they wont issue a refund until the manufacturer has credited them back for the seat, which is not my issue as i bought the seat through them not the manufacturer and then will have to wait up to 30 days for the refund.

They have never taken responsability of any of this and have always blamed the manufacturer for the reason things have gone wrong. Even though when I have spoken to the manufacturer they have been nothing but helpfull.

Manufacturer contacted and told of this and I have recommended that they should stop using Just4baby as a supplier as they are a representative of their product and putting them into a bad light.

How this company is still is business with this customer service is beyond belief.
