I am looking for moneyboxes for my two sons but can't find any anywhere even on the internet. Just wondered if anybody had any recommendations of any nice ones. Have heard of these Moonjar ones but can't find where to buy them in the UK.

I think I saw some in Wilko recently. Probably not highest quality but they had matching bedroom accessories.

Funny, I posted exactly the same question on the products forum a couple of weeks back ... no replies though! Anyway, I found some nice (I think) ones at www.alwaysporcelain.com - they're book shaped, days of the week, ie. Monday's Child is ... etc. My children are both young so for them, they're suitable though you might find them a bit babyish if your boys are older.

My youngest (8) has been desperate for a terramundi pot (Athena); once full you have to smash it.
He also has 1 from Halifax bdg soc that sorts the coins into comapartments which has been very popular and encouraged coin recognition, adding up etc

its a bit expensive but argos does the electronic counting money boxs where the kids can see there boxs fill up

plus useualy with boys if its electric its fun

ikea do large coloured plastic pig money boxes for i think £2 each. Ds1 got a blue one and ds2 got an orange one from father Xmas

Any tacky souvenir shops near you? Seriously - I got some really nice enamelled ones - a miniature trad red pillarbox and a proper old phone box - for Xmas stockings. You can get taxis and double decker buses and so on too. Quite good for boys.
