How did you chose your childs names?

My mother named me after a biscuit

I picked a traditional, strong name for DD (like joolstoo) her middle name was a 'gas and air moment'
Although we did have about 4 names for her, couldn't decide, and she was nameless for a week!
This one, I am trying to make a list of girls names, we definately have a boys name, but girls are harder.

DD1 - after a lullaby on Ian Dury album
DD2 - Actress whose films (and piano playing...) I enjoyed.
DD3 - Polish influence as spent a year living in Warsaw. Also name of my maternal grandfather's sister.

DD1's middle name is after Eric Cantona as she kicked a lot before she was born and I had to let my DH have a say in something.
