Bring your steak and guacamole sandwiches and raise a glass of cheeky Chilean red to the hottest musketeer of them all!

Let's play pass the parcel. When the music stops, Team A gets to take off a layer.

Ready...go!

Oh FGS. Still, you get the idea.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 07/05/2015 23:49

I may as well use up all my pic allowance - I'm at a wedding tomorrow so won't be around much.

can he, not 'can here' FFS

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 07/05/2015 23:54

The reason I had the turn about those pics^^ was because I couldn't place them. Twitterers were wondering if they were cut scenes.

Turns out they're photoshopped.

FancyFancy · 07/05/2015 23:55

No outfit & the ultimate in FAF

He looks like a Hispanic David beckham in that black tie one imo. Mmmmm.

I dunno about swings fancy, my brane is too tired.

UKIP have had a big increase in the no of votes cast for them, but coming from such a low base it doesn't really affect anything, apart from being really depressing.

I'm on bbc1 and they're just sticking to extrapolating from the exit poll afaik. From what I can see, the lib dem collapse is benifiting the cons massively. The snp has totally torpedoed labour. The two things added together means the cons have done well and labour badly. As someone just said, even with around just 310 seats, the cons can still govern comfortably. So on that note, I'm off to bed.

fancy no idea. Have been flicking too, and actually have radio on in the room too. Taking a break from ironing and may go for a bath with Jim Naughtie in a while.

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 00:14

I think I remember seeing tehm before & a comment that they weren't genuine.

One last pic left of my allowance, let's go for a traditional favourite...

MadamedeChevreuse · 08/05/2015 00:20

Going by the exit polls caveat - if it wasn't for the snp, labour would have done quite well and better than last time - gaining about 20 seats, not losing 30. So we'd be looking at a possible labour govt.

fancy the swing thing, re libs I think it's because there are many more lib con marginals than lib lab marginals. Libs are losing everything, but because of this the cons have picked up a load of seats overall.

Going to bed now and hoping that more tight english marginals will go to labour than the exit polls have suggested. Although this probably won't be enough to make a dent in their losses to the snp.

Yes, it's Scotland that will have done for Labour. But they have sleepwalked into it really. Scottish election in 2010 was an SNP majority in a system that was designed to produce a hung Scottish parliament. So the warning was there and they really haven't done much to ensure anything different happened. Assumed a GE would be different which is a fecking big mistake. Sad

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 00:24

I've stopped the ironing now, enjoy your bath issy.

Re the swing business, it did confuse me as they were talking of it when he Labour vote had largely held up, LibDem collapsed & UKIP benefitted, so at face value it looked like the swing was from LibDem to UKIP. Which is why I assumed I missed something about how they calculate swings now there are more parties to be considered.

MiladyBeaWinter · 08/05/2015 00:25

And SNP occupy old Labour ground. More socialist and left wing. Our very hard working Labour MP predicted to lose to SNP. Who was a Tory candidate in 1999 and outspoken in Tory youth movement. But also held Labour Party membership in mid 1990s. Defected to SNP a few years ago. Am sceptical to say the least Hmm

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 00:29

ok madame, that makes sense for some of them, but I'm still in the dark about the Lab/UKIP swing mentioned when Labour had maintained their majority. I guess that will teach me not to flick Grin

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 00:41

I'm not surprised mrsb, I would not be impressed by that Shock

IssyStark · 08/05/2015 00:44

Fancy we were shocked when talking to a local old girl who had been Labour all her life, involved in the co-op movement etc etc, who was going to vote UKIP this time as she was fed up with Labour (and of course it is a safe Tory seat).

I think what has been happening is LibDem supporters, who are traditionally more left-wing than the leadership and have been sickened by the LD propping up the Tories, have been moving to Labour, meanwhile some die-hard Labour 'hard working families', have moved to UKIP as they see the Labour leadership as remote and unsympathetic.

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 00:53

That makes some sense issy, so to do that they would need to know people's previous voting history? Otherwise it would just look like previous LibDem voters switching to UKIP, however unlikely that may seem given the parties' views on Europe.

MiladyBeaWinter · 08/05/2015 01:01

Well just seeing Farage may not win his seat so hopefully he'll be gone. I think he has been very deceptive and cynical, and it's taken in a lot of folk.

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 01:03

That has been rumoured mrsb. Did they say when his constituency will declare?

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 01:09

Hm, have seen it may not be til 6am when the Farage result is in. George Galloway was another mentioned as being in danger.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 08/05/2015 01:12

As I'm pulling an all nighter to watch the election results that means I get Dog and the Cardinal for the night too Grin

I am being terribly civilised - drinking Earl Grey, crocheting and making a list of why I hate Jeremy Vine - so far my list is:

  1. He's a tosspot

Actually that's the whole list Grin

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 01:16

But what are you crocheting livia? Is it some contraption for your dungeon?

MiladyBeaWinter · 08/05/2015 01:20

Sorry Fancy am in and out on here. On my grown up (non wench Twitter) mainly and as its after midnight taking me ages to do anything coherently.

Re Jeremy Vine
