Apologies if this has already been posted but...

Did anyone see on the news or Inside Out last night about the woman who had 13 and still wanted another? I mean, good luck to her and I hope she gets the silver wedding present she yearns for, but think of all the ironing!!

Apparently she does 50+ wash loads a week and they get through a washing machine a year. It just doesn't bear thinking about.

They are supporting themselves so I don't see the problem. (I do think she is MAD though!)

Takes all kinds!

2manypimms, if their weekly food bill is £400 then on a salary of £30k he can not be supporting them all by himself - the figures just don't add up.

There are not enough hours in the day to look after the needs of thirteen children singlehandedly. I often feel my five are hard done by, time wise, as it is the one thing they need that I cannot conjure up more of. Thirteen? Holy cow!

They will be pulling in at least £370 from tax credits and child benefit.
