ds going throuhg a phase of rejecting porridge/weetabix - prefers cereals with cold milk. so far we've only tried cheerios - which he loves, but wouold be good to have some variety.

princessmel · 06/11/2006 14:04

Plain rice crispies or cheerios. ds has raisins on the rice crispies sometimes.

BettySpaghetti · 06/11/2006 14:05

Shreddies
Weetabix
Ready Brek (sometimes add raisins or chopped apricots)
Porridge ( " " )
Bran Flakes
Cheerios
Rice Crispies

If I sense they're getting bored of the ones we've got I sometimes mix 2 sorts in one bowl and it distracts them a bit

NotQuiteCockney · 06/11/2006 14:05

Mine has a mix of:

  • puffed rice cereal (like rice crispies, but organic etc)
  • corn flakes
  • storebought muesli
  • homemade muesli (which I limit, as it's too high-fibre for him).

He's 2 now, but has been having this mix every morning for months and months.

princessmel · 06/11/2006 14:06

My dd is 15 months and can manage the rice crispies ( sort of) as they stick to the spoon quite well. She has wheetabix first then a mini bowl of cereal to practice!

biglips · 06/11/2006 14:07

its varies as somedays my 25m dd loves Shreddies and then suddenly she hates them, then she loves weetabixs and suddenly hate them, then she love porridge and the same thing happens again... and it goes round in a circle - shes not much of a cereal person as doesnt always wants cereal in mornings

BUT

she lurvvveeessss her fruits in the mornings as give her slices of apple, grapes, raisins with yoghurt in the bowl with it too and its be alll gone within minutes!! plus her bottle of cow milk.
