If it goes on for a couple of hours, your dc is bound to get restless. Bet s/he'd love it though. You could in theory go and be prepared to leave early if need be?

I used to pack a little bag for dd when she was that small with biscuits and lollipops (keep them quiet for a LONG time, etc) but she did tend to wriggle and squirm and try and crawl off under the seat. It was quite a trial tbh.
