thought this was to shallow a topic for the products bit!! can anyone recommend a decent eyeliner that would transform me from a knackered looking old trout into a reasonable human being again? (if it can make me look like Cindy crawford or similar so much the better!!)

Bodyshop liquid eyeliner is my favourite in the world

I have a collection 200 liquid eyeliner that is really good, doesn't smudge, and seems to have lasted forevr. V cheap too.

I use it as a solid line for the top eyelid, but just dab it gently along the roots of the lower lashes, then use wet eyeshadow to blend in with it.

she uemera is fabulous, not sure if thats how you spell it though for precision lining, or maybelline is also brilliant, Vrigin is excellent too

Body Shop do some nice light colours - benefit of the light colour is that it lights up your eyes making you look less tired. Pop in when you have time and perhaps they will have somebody who can show you the best colour for you and the most suitable way to apply for your eyes. They helped me with my foundation and blush and I couldn't have been happier.

boots no7 do a v dark black eyeshadow that is great applied wet...subtle smudgey line rather than v defined...and not too expensive.

CountessDracula · 29/04/2004 21:17

Must admit I have never found a better one than Rimmel and believe me I have tried a lot!

boots 17 soft liner pen...great for harsh lines and can be blended softer with a dry smudger.
