How on earth do I send a victorian blanket box through the post?

I am selling a blanket box on ebay and have requested that it is local pick up only and yet someone not local is interested and wants it sent through the post office if they win the auction, they reckon it will cost £15, do I really go to the bother of lugging it down to the PO?

You'd have to insure the hell out of it.

And buy a box for it.

And remember now that postage is no longer just weight dependent but also size dependent.

May be better/easier to contact a coulier company....

Get a quote from a courier, they will come to your house to collect. See if you can balance it on the bathroom scales for a rough idea.
