how long does one 'get' to send out an item?

i've bought a dvd and over 2 weeks later it has not arrived and comms very slooooow. seller has advised item sent. previous neutral feedback for slowness...

i told the seller my legs are turning to lard (was a tae bo dvd!) as i wait so please hurry up a little. he sent a very curt reply. typically has not given me feedback for immediate payment.

that will be my next move i think. don't want to start a neg feedback battle though where he threatens me with the same. i had this over a counterfeit item i received and had to leave no feedback as a result. not fair. ebay people are hopeless at intervening...

Just wanted to add if the item has been sent and gets lost by royal mail the sender has to wait 15 days before they can put in a claim for the item. I would just be calm & polite and ask when did they post it and what class. If it's then been several days since posting just ask if he has proof of posting in case a claim needs to be made as it hasn't arrived yet.

Shame this person has poor feedback but I wouldn't start threatening neg feedback it's not worth it.
