Strange Ebay Question

Ok, my ILs have been after a particular sort of chair for ages, to replace ones they've got. After months of looking, finally, the exact replica has come up on ebay, in the right wood.

Thank god.

Problem is, they're with a table. I'll find out if the ILs want another table, but I doubt they do. I don't want a rosewood dining table. Is it possible the sellers will be ok with us only collecting the chairs, they can re-ebay just the table? (If we win, we'll pay the full bid price, obviously.)

Ask them the question. At least that way everything is out in the open before the transaction takes place. Alternatively, buy the lot - and then you can re-ebay the table.

I don't want to sell a table on ebay, someone would have to pick it up etc etc. Can't be arsed.

I'll talk to the ILs, and ask the seller about just taking the chairs ... gah ...

I could probably find someone to take away the table, to be fair. And there's a good furniture recycling scheme near us, so there are options other than just throwing it out I guess ...

It could be more profitable for the seller to sell the chairs seperate anyway, so its got to be worth a shot.

They might have to get shot of the table by a certain date, or something.

Yeah, the page implies they're moving, so I expect that's the case. I'll ask ILs first. The auction doesn't end until the 8th.

The other thing I'll have to ask, probably, is if visiting to see the chairs is possible, as they are not far from us, and the ILs are visiting on Saturday.

Arse, we have to take the table. Must email a shipping firm, then ...
