Hi can anyone help me? I'm moving to Littlehampton with my 3yo but have read a lot of bad reviews about the town. These were from a number of years ago & cited high crime rates & drugs. Does anyone live there who can give me a local view on what its like now?

Congratulations on your move! Don't know about the drugs or crime - sorry - but we have enjoyed the playgrounds, the beaches and the cafe's. Like any town, think its got its good areas and not so good. It might not be perfect but it seems to have loads of great stuff. Good choice of supermarkets (Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury). Schools are a mixed bag - but primary choices are stronger than secondary. Cinema is OK, especially for kids. Swimming pool runs good kids lessons and lots of courses like trampolining, football etc. There's a really good bonfire at the seafront in October/November.

It also depends where you are moving from. I moved from the NW to Sussex and annoyed friends by cutting out the weekly crime reports and posting them back. Headlines like 'Intoxicated man very rude to police officer'
This link might help, you can select different areas to compare.

Thanks! Looking around the area it seemed like a nice little seaside town & then I read some awful reviews & worried that is made a massive mistake.
