I've just realised why that picture of Aramis with the baby doesn't really look like Aramis. He is looking at a woman and NOT giving her the stare. That's why it's odd.

We are off on holiday tomorrow so today is packing. Just waiting on the Sainbos driver to arrive with all the food to take. Am also booking ferries etc for our July holiday (Ireland again, and with no wifi again ) and sorting insurance etc whilst simultaneously referring the DC's arguments. I'll need this holiday when it's all done.

I don't blame queenie at all! She is entitled to one shag in her life that is not with an overgrown baby. As I might have mentioned the idea of shagging Kingy makes me shudder. I know the actor is quite good looking in r l, but he does that awful (but brilliant) Kingy grin so well that you totally believe in his babyish hopeless selfishness.

The problem came because aramis could not stop 1. Giving everyone significant sideways llooks whenever the baby was mentioned, 2. Having private conversations with the queen, 3. Trying to see the baby despite athos' warnings and 4. Shagging the dolphin 's governess as part of his "cunning plan" to.cover his tracks.

Now I love aramis but he really did behave stupidly throughout the whole business. Almost as if he wanted to be caught iyswim.

And he continued to do 1 and 2 even after they had been caught and got away with it!

MoreLike I'm sure I read something in the run up to S2 about how they hoped people would stick with/have some empathy with the characters, even when the characters themselves weren't being entirely sympatheitc themselves. iyswim?
So Aramis being an utter bastard to Marguerite, Rochefort obsessing over Queenie, Dartagnan being an arse to Constance, Athos not initially caring about villagers.
So it was deliberate that some were being TBsbut we still liked them.

Aldi sell argan oil products. Haven't tried the shampoo/ conditioner, but the hand cream is luvverly.
