Ah yes, holidays without the DCs. You lock the lounge and hide the key so they won't have any parties, and then years later you are informed by their friends that they had a duplicate one cut. At a party some time ago I remarked that I had never seen so many people in our lounge, and one of DS's friends said "Oh really, I have!" To be fair, there was never any evidence.
