im selling ornament for my mum.buyer has offered £500 as buy it now,which i didnt do buy it now price but when asked said £500 would be nice.he agreed and said hed pay paypal,cheque or cash and hed collect.what would you do?hes got feedback of 100% but only 10.

if he is offering £500 it may be worth a lot more.

its worth £1000+ but im selling it for my mum and shes desperate for the money,i dont want to risk it not selling!.i put reserve on for £500 so should i just tell him to bid.

I would tell him that you are not closing the auction early and that he should bid like everyone else.

I would let the auction run perhaps, depends on what your reserve price is. No point in refusing £500 and then it only sells for £200.

Leave it running.If it doesn't sell, you know he wanted it for that price so might still want it! Ask for cash on collection or paypal.

Remember with paypal you will pay quite a bit in fees for £500.
