Todays moral dilema

I have a friend visiting who breast feeds her 1yr old son. As he is not with her on this trip she has had to express some off. Should she have thrown away her milk or fed it to my 5week old son.

It doesn't quite sit right with us but we can't really say why.

the thought of feeding a friend's expressed milk to my child would not have occurred to me. If I was your friend, I would not have suggested it either. I would either "pump and dump" or freeze it for my child when I got home.

Are you concerned about not wasting it?
