I wonder what you think of this decision by local magistrates? Seems completely mad to about 99% of the local population (including police) - what do your guidelines say about this kind of thing?

Well, yes, and why not - if he was older he would be named anyway, wouldn't he? He's got away with it twice now

i dont knwo much about youth court (callmemadam does though) BUT i do know that Abos are already fallign out of favouras they become as street cred thing adn aslo are deemed unworkable in lost of wasy as they are often so harsh that if he breaks them he goes straight into custody which does seem a little ott fro vandalising a bench ( even for daily mail readers).

and he did have quite a harsh sentence instead

Do they work then? As in, do they actually keep to them?
