Commuting to London Bridge from Reigate - train disruptions

Hello hello,
We are looking to move to Reigate from London. We have heard that the trains to London Bridge from Reigate and Redhill are going to be a nightmare due to major works but can't find anything online to prove it from commuters. Want to be sure before making the move. We love Reigate! Any stories?

Have a look at the thameslink site. I don't think the reading line is affected anymore though - that was the first phase?

Currently no charging cross services stop at LB and that's until 2016. Royal pain in the arse.

It really is. I love Reigate and really want to move there. Need to understand how bad the commute is. I am guessing it is pretty bad :-/

It has got worse recently but probably no more do than any other service into LB.

Can anyone comment on how full the early direct trains to London Bridge are from Reigate or Redhill?
I am considering a move to Reigate with my partner but I am worried about the commute. I work in the London Bridge area starting at 8am and finishing at 4pm.

The trains I'm thinking of in the morning are the 06:43 and 07:15 from Redhill, or possibly the 07:27 from Reigate (if I start work a bit later ) - would I be likely to get a seat on one of these trains?

how will you get to Redhill from Reigate and where will you park? that's the first hurdle.

The Redhill service to LB is fine, bit crap at the moment but no different from all LB services. Getting the train from Reigate itself is terrible.
