oh bugger ds has lost my toolbar thingy?can someone help me get it backplease?

You mean the blue bar across the bottom (or side or top - depending on where you had it) ?

I think if you move the mouse right to the edge it should pop up again. It may be he dragged it smaller - you might have to click and drag to make it wider and visible again.

If that doesn't work then try minimising all windows, the task bar may be hiding behind them.

When you find it, right click it and select properties. Make sure the 'autohide' is unticked and the 'keep on top' and 'lock toolbar' are both ticked before clicking on OK.
