i bid on something was out bid on it but then the same day offered a second chance offer, now i think the buyer was possibly pushing the price up and hoping i was prepared to bid more but i wasn't, as i had been out bid i have bought the item else where and don't want it. so can i refuse a second chance offer?

Yes! It is an offer - you don't have to accept.

yes just ignore it if you do not want it
no obligation at all.
Or email the seller and tell ehr you have found it elsewhere.

Not it is only an offer no commitment.

NotQuiteCockney · 26/10/2006 09:33

Worth knowing - there are "fake" second chance offers out there, too, which are scams. Check if a second chance offer appears in your My Ebay section, if you're considering bidding on it.

thanks really wasn't sure, i know a bid is legally binding but was wondering if because i bid i had to buy. its not expensive (£1) but i just don't want 2!
