when to turn the heating off?

I always feel guilty putting the heating on and now it's kinda spring, I am worried about having the heat on, it's still very chilly! Should I stop worrying and put it off when I'm warm enough and stop it right there? When do you switch yours off?

Is it on all the time? We don't have ours on now... when it was colder I would put on for an hour after school to warm the house up, and an hour in the morning.

ITS NOT KINDA SPRING!!!! It's February, and you are entitled to have the heating on for a good while yet.

Bloody hell younges - you must either be nails, or have a very well insulated house.

Our house is quite warm.... I hate the heating being on, makes me too hot. It gets cold in the evening but once kids in bed, I snuggle on sofa with a blanket and am fine.

Don;t you have a thermostat Confused

Surely you let the heating decide for itself whether its cold enough to come on.
