Am so knackered but can't sleep. need copious amounts of alcohol to enable passing out but f' it! We have none. Will have to settle for hot milky drink which is just not the same

DD poorly and her coughing keeps waking her up. Have moved us both downstairs so we don't wake everyone else and she's currently propped up in her pram as lying down flat not an option.

My living room door so squeaky I daren't risk disturbing her so could you do me a mug as well please as i'm stranded in here

Oh I remember it well....luckily my DS's seem to have developed a strong immune system now - must have been all the being snotty for the first 18months or so each. Have you tried carvol or something on her chest to help?
Do you want just milk, chocolate or horlicks?

It's no good. I've got to take DS1 swimming, go to the doctors, be at play date at 9.30, the start work after lunch so I really must get some sleep.
Will try to count some sheep or mumsnet names or something.

Me - Woke up worrying about money and had to come downstairs to check the bank....couldnt help but pop in!

Sorry, I went back to bed - DS1 had sneaked in so there was no room!
Ended up trying to sleep on the sofa, nodded off about 4am then got up and 6. Am mighty tired.
Charliecat - Me too! Had to check the bank and addup how long it'd take us to clear our overdraft etc.

Ds woke during the night...frequently...(Not his usual behaviour! He has a cough too, which wakes him, and then he doesn't go back to sleep) the last one being just an hour before my alarm was set to go to get up for work...and he didn't settle until 20 minutes before alarm

Me please. Right now. Went to bed past midnight last night. Couldnt get to sleep for ages. DS1 woke at 2.20am. I couldnt get back to sleep for ages again. Then DS2 got up at 6am to start the day. I am KNACKERED. Should be cleaning right now but I am just so tired.
