What do you do with your trampoline at this time of year?

We've had fantastic use out of it over the summer, and the boys have been playing on it until very recently. Today I have siphoned off a huge amount of water (we have a cover on the trampoline so it all stays in the middle). So what do you do in winter?

Still Bounce on dry weekends. The kids also like to use it as a big sofa to sit & chat on

What do you do about the rain?

Same as milliways

We have an all-weather cover on it but get the same puddle problem as you LM. DH and I just tip the water off (10ft trampoline, too heavy with a big puddle for 1 person to tip), et voila

If we've had a cpl of days of heavy ish rain then we tip it every 2-3 days

OK I think I'm going to regret our 14' one now! At least the siphoning is low effort, but it takes ages.

TBH, it's too big to store indoors or in a shed/garage and too fiddly to take apart and store in pieces.

We had to put extra holes in our raincover otherwise it just collected the rain. TBH we often leave it uncovered as then the rain drips straight through.

Holes in a raincover??
We leave ours uncovered, kids bounce 12 month per year!

Katymac · 30/10/2006 15:20

Put an up turned plastic buckey (maybe a childs one) in the middle before you put the cover on

No cover here either, children use it all year - they particuarly like bouncing in the dark
