Birthday present ideas 8 yr old girl up to 75 pounds (or not much over)

She has a wii and a cheap tablet which she clogs up with free apps from Google play. She has a new bike. She loves animals, music (can't play but loves anything from 50 s to now), books, films. I'm an old, out of touch duffer (mostly ) so I am rubbish at "the latest thing". I have some ideas but I need help. I was tempted by a DS lite ( I know not the LATEST thing) but am concerned she'd be on it too much. She's not on her other gadgets too much so maybe being unfair. .. just rambling now. Any suggestions?

An experience? Junior Zookeeper for the day? Llama trekking? If you think she has enough "stuff" buy her something like that to remember. Less to store too
