URGENT!!! Computer help!

Does anyone or anyones dh/dp know how to save screen shots off a dvd on the computer? As Im trying to do this for computer but I get to the point where I can save the shot in Word/Paint but when I print it out, it's just black. Anyone know what Im doing wrong? Need this done before Tuesday!!

Daft question, but are you pausing the film first before taking the shot?

I've just managed to take a screen shot from one of my DVD's.

Have you tried restarting your PC. I'm sure I had this and it was a memory problem.

Yea, I pause it, then copy it, paste it into paint or paintshop and then when I go to print it, I just get black. I dont understand why
