Anybody Live in Hastings?

What's it like?

I want to move to Kent or Sussex (from the south west) Ideally I would like to be closer to London but can't afford to be.

Sussex has some lovely areas. Hastings is not great tbh

I've heard Hastings is a bit grim, what's wrong with it?

We are a family of five with three primary aged children and a dog. We don't have that much money to buy a house, max 300k, and really need a fresh start.

Have you considered Worthing?

I thought I wouldn't be able to afford Worthing?
