Where to Holiday abroad with Teenagers?

Hello,

It's been a long time since we treated ourselves to a lovely sunny holiday abroad.

We are looking for somewhere where we can relax around the pool and maybe water slides etc. without traveling to far from out apartment on site would be perfect to keep the teenagers occupied.

Can anyone recommend a nice place to go that is not £500+ per person (as we are family of 6) and some place that is not over priced when you arrive - if this even exists?

Is 500 per person including flights and during school holidays- that is a tight budget? With the recent fall in the Euro, it should be cheaper once you get to Europe in terms of spending money than it was, and making all inclusive deals less value for money as these are priced up a year in advance. Would you consider a villa rented privately with its own pool as using something like www.vrbo.com or ownersdirect might give you better value but won't have central facilities or other teenagers for them to meet up with.

Are you campers? Would you drive somewhere and do your own thing? Or are you looking for an all inclusive package holiday in a fully catered hotel?
