I'm going to be in the area tomorrow with a 2 year 9 month ds and a baby dd.. have ruled out Bekonscott and Odds Farm but thought Zoom might be worth a visit.

Anyone been there..I can't find any info on the web (apart from it's address).

Is it any good? Are there refreshments for harassed mums? Is there somewhere to sit with baby whilst ds tires himself out?

Zoom is big and really good, about 5/6 pounds a child i think free for a under 12month with a paying sibling! yes it has refreshments not cheep though! 1.50 for a cuppa which i think is unreasonable!

moonbase is much smaller but also much cheaper 2 pounds ish a child and non walkers are free, excellent for babies and toddlers, may be a bit limited for a 4 year old +. refreshment available look at www.wll.co.uk or google if this is wrong.

Just come back after a very stressful and expensive time at zoom. Went with my friend and our 13 mth old daughters and my son (9yrs). Cost £7.50 for him and £6.50 for my baby. There was no supervision from the staff and when questioned about the lack of equipment / toys for the under 3's area we were told they had all broken and that ball pits are nolonger allowed due to germs. The baby change facilities were very poor, in a disabled toilet which was locked! My son enjoyed himself but both babies were bored after 40 mins. The bouncy castle in the middle appeared very dangerous with children playing on and near the blower at the back and climbing the walls. No one supervising again and far too many children on at the same time. Very busy cafe area, the food looked lovely, we could not enjoy it as we used all our cash on the enterance price. We will not be visiting zoom again, will try moonbase as someone commented it was great for younger children.
