...no work and feeling bored today I chanced upon Hello magazine where Lisa B welcomes us to her stately home and introduces her new baby boy...
the quote that pissed me off was 'Having two children really completes the family. It's great- I feel like a proper mum now;like I've earned the badge !'
So am I - a mother of just the one - not a proper mother ? grrrrrr

I'm a mum of two girls and get annoyed when mums of boys say that boys are far harder work because they are more lively! These are the mums who don't know my dd1 very well...

has a mother of three blue babies and two pink i can honestly say my boys are harder work than my girls.

I'd say 'well, just as in my driving test, I got my badge at my first attempt. So sorry you had to prqactise ofr longer'!

I am a "practicing" mother too, but DS is a lot of work - like a hurricane of energy. IF (note the use of that word MNers, before you jump on me) there is any truth that little boys are harder work, then I think it balances out in the long run. Anyone looking forward in eager anticipation to teenage girls? Or should I start a new thread for that debate?
