I did the Intro to Computing course earlier this year because I thought it might be interesting and I could do it at my own pace. On balance, I did learn a lot and all the assessments were based on me answering multiple choice questions, return for marking and they returned my score (usually within 3 days). Whether my diploma is recognisable I don't know but the knowledge I gained is valid and that must count for something.

I have a degree and PhD in Chemistry as well as a Diploma in Managment and I accepted that the testing with my ICS course would not be as rigorous as with my other courses. I was more interested in gaining the information, tbh.

the criminology degree is also appealing to me as well, butt hat would be a long way off I think as i'd need to really study to do that.

thanks for the info thou SM.
