Plumber installed a new toilet and in the process has knocked a chip off the ceramic cistern thingy. It doesn't affect the functioning of the toilet and isn't immediately noticeable, but now I've noticed it I'm pissed off. We bought the stuff for him to install and until yesterday (when he came to fit it) it was all in perfect condition. He didn't mention the damage - I noticed it today. I'm venting I guess but would like to know what anyone else would do about it if anything.

It's his fault so he should have advised you and should replace it or give you the cost towards it...BUT thats what I would LIKE to do..what I DO and SAY are diffent things..! I would probably not say a word but fume to everyone else..
